Who We Are

Denali Healthcare Advocates is composed of a team of local individuals with expertise in healthcare services & administration, business development, and nonprofit work.

We recognize the importance of local, accessible healthcare in the Denali Borough to a high quality of life, and peace of mind.

Our hope is to restore primary care clinic services to the Denali Borough, which will serve as the springboard for expanding healthcare services to meet the needs of the local community.

Combined we have 180 years of residency, 90 years of healthcare expertise and 60 years of business experience.

John is a long time Healy resident and Founder of the original Healy Clinic, John is a licensed P.A. who practiced in Healy for __ years before selling his clinic. He went on to work in healthcare administration and has extensive knowledge of rural medical operations.

Thom grew up in the Denali Borough before joining the military and completing P.A. school. He spends his time between clinics in the Denali and Fairbanks North Star Boroughs, and is co-owner/operator of Canyon Clinic and resides here with his family.

Anne is a licensed RN, who was raised in the Denali Borough. She resides here with her family.

Seamus, PA-C is a lifelong Alaskan, serving the Denali Borough as an owner/operator healthcare provider at Clear Space Force Station (2008) and Canyon Clinic Denali (2009) along with Thomas Deblauw. He has extensive knowledge of rural and remote healthcare operations and administration and is invested in longterm healthcare solutions for this community.

Todd has lived in the Denali Borough for 39 years, operating businesses and serving in a variety of community leadership positions. His drive to change the healthcare landscape of the Denali Borough brought this group together.
